Instead of focusing on the world’s problems, give your attention and energy to trust, love, abundance and peace.
After moving to Palm Desert from Flagstaff, I was on a mission to figure out my next career move. I’d been in real estate, interior design, and even co-owned a golf shop with my husband. My hairdresser suggested that I reach out to one of her favorite clients, Jann Martelli, who’d just retired from selling pharmaceuticals. I did, and instead of talking grit about pharma life, Jann told me all about working for KINONA. Her enthusiasm, class and success struck me immediately. A cup of Starbucks later, I had a friend for life—and an exciting new opportunity in an industry I already loved!
Where's your favorite place to golf?
Seven Canyons in Sedona, Arizona. It’s an understated hidden gem that has been our family’s Mothers’ Day-getaway for years now. The course makes you feel like you’re in a world all your own—I’d live there if I could!
If you could golf with anyone, who would it be?
My perfect foursome for golf would include:
Katherine Hepburn—iconic, timeless actress and avid golfer. Her independence, talent and sharp wit would make a fun round!
Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef)—I love food and she’s a beautiful chef, writer, model and role model for women of all race and ages. She’s not afraid to show the world who she is.
My daughter Elle—a 13-year old golfer. I enjoy hearing her thoughts on golf and I love hanging out with her more than anyone! Growing the game of golf is so important for giving children a sports outlet that they can enjoy for life.
