KINONA may be known for encouraging more women to get out on the green, but we don’t do that alone. Our fun, female-inspired collections can be found at over 250+ premium country clubs and lifestyle retailers around the United States. This distribution network is in large part the work of our Champions - a committed and outgoing sales group, living our values and introducing KINONA to women, one club at a time.
Champion Jana Hinojosa has been with our team for 2 years. She’s a buyer and merchandiser with Andalusia Country Club in La Quinta, California, a course with the breathtaking landscape of the Santa Rosa Mountains from every tee.
What inspired you to become a KINONA Champion?
When I saw KINONA I knew it would be a perfect “fit” for our club members enjoying an active-desert lifestyle – cute, comfortable, and practical!
What's one achievement in your KINONA journey that has particular meaning to you and why?
One achievement I get to experience almost daily is seeing the excitement in the faces of the women who are sporting their KINONA style around the club and knowing that I introduced them to the brand. It’s very satisfying. I love watching their “happy dances” when they discover the magic of KINONA!
What's some advice you can give women about golf or being a KINONA Champion?
A friendly smile and a positive word go a long way. It may very well make someone’s day.
What’s your favorite KINONA piece and why?
By far my FAVORITE KINONA piece is the “Tailored & Trim” Golf Short. I find them so versatile, it’s almost ridiculous! In fact, they’re probably the most often worn item I’ve ever owned. Great for travel, whether it be a road trip or a cruise, they are my “go to” piece. I wear them for hiking, cycling, pickleball, yoga, to work, and to warm weather cocktail parties... oh yes, and for golf of course! Good thing they come in various colors!
Anything else you'd like to share?
KINONA stands apart from other golf brands because of the people and their mission. I’m so proud to be part of a strong, smart, kind-hearted circle of women.
