Pantone’s Color of the Year: Does Your Golf Wardrobe Include It?
The Pantone Color Institute recently named their 2023 Color of the Year: Viva Magenta 18-750, touting it as “brave and fearless, a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative.”

Why a Color of the Year and how is it chosen?
In 2000, the Pantone Color Institute introduced the Color of the Year, a culmination of research by color experts to identify and forecast trends of new color influences around the world and across mediums including fashion, art, technology and even politics.
There isn’t a specific goal to push or popularize a color by naming it the Color of the Year. Instead, the company ‘s selection invites a broader dialogue about the power and impact of color as a visual language. Colors can make a statement that goes beyond words and the company’s mission is to understand the importance of color when marketing products.
