Why Julie Grossman Chose KINONA This Year - And Why She'd Do It Again
Julie Grossman knew she would have to think outside the box this year. It was March, COVID had started shutting down doors, and events were canceling left and right. A self-employed stylist of 16 years with Etcetera - Julie's served women near and far who "have more style than time”. Julie's clients appreciate her authenticity, her great eye for style, and her ability to tune into their needs - sometimes before they do!
This spring, as the world changed, everyone started spending their time differently. Julie’s clients weren’t going into the office but were working from home, and weren’t attending work functions or galas. So what were they doing? Golfing. A social-distancing compatible sport that gets you outdoors and takes more time than these busy women usually have.
Julie explains “I don’t play golf, but everyone around me does - and I know fashion and fit." She whispers "But most golf clothing for women just isn't that fashionable.” Researching women’s golf brands, she was drawn to KINONA’s fun designs, and amazing quality and fit and worked with the founders to bring golf fashion to more women.
Julie and several of her fellow Stylists just completed their fall showings and were able to offer KINONA’s newest collection.
“Clients loved the high-quality material and that it would be perfect for golfing in, but also for everything else they were doing. The Smooth your Waist Crop Pants have now become our favorite travel pants! And the polka dots from this new collection were a hit! You can just tell KINONA is made by women for women”, Julie tells us.
Julie and her fellow Stylists loved working with KINONA this year, and the feeling was mutual. Tami Fujii, a co-founder says of the collaboration “We have always wanted to provide a high touch experience to customers. Working with these experienced Stylists was a gift. Not only did they treat our customers like family, but I think we also got more busy women out on the green and feeling great! That’s a win from every angle.”
