Instilling a Lifelong Love of Golf Starts with Fun!

How old were you when you first picked up a golf club? Do you remember what it felt like to step on to a beautifully manicured course and swing a club for the first time? Maybe it was a bit intimidating or perhaps making friendships on the course, especially with other girls, seemed out of reach.

Those of us who play the game know that golf can be a transformative sport. We’ve learned invaluable lessons about commitment, perseverance, confidence, and even humility. And we’ve had a lot of fun and made amazing friendships through golf too.

Which is why we at KINONA are so proud of our partnership with the LPGA Foundation and Girls Golf. For more than 30 years the program, administered by LPGA and USGA, has been changing the face of the game and empowering girls and young women through the game of golf. Our most loyal KINONA customers recognize this good work and recently contributed $1,600 of their member benefits through our Queen of the Green program to support the Girls Golf mission.

With over 500 sites across the country, Girls Golf is reaching and developing the next generation of golfers and community leaders. With the 5 E Stages of Learning, girls are not only introduced to the sport but reap the benefits of the experience in all areas of their lives. From empowering them with knowledge and self confidence to engaging young girls with positive female role models, Girls Golf programs inspire active lifestyles and connect girls with the game and each other.

Our favorite part of Girls Golf mission is that it allows girls to learn and develop in an all-girl environment, free to be themselves and support one another.
